Exporting to the Clipboard Using the Graphical Interface

Default Settings
The default settings for exporting to clipboard are nearly the same as for exporting to file. The exceptions are the default format and default background handling. When you export to the clipboard, MATLAB chooses one of two formats depending on the objects in your figure, and the default background color of the output file is transparent.
To change default clipboard settings, use the Preferences dialog box. The Preferences dialog box contains two panels for clipboard export:
