Directing Your Output

Overview

This chapter describes methods for directing your output. An important factor in output direction is the choice of a MATLAB printer driver. The default MATLAB printer driver works with most printers. However, when this is not the case, it is important to know which drivers are available and how to specify a different one.

Ways of Directing Your Output

There are three ways to direct your output:

• Send it to a printer, using an appropriate printer driver (default behavior)
• Send it to a PostScript file that can be printed later
• Append it to a PostScript file you previously created
