Prof. Banerjee has been supported by the Semiconductor Research Corporation (contact: Dr. Justin Harlow) for his work on "Portable Parallel Algorithms for VLSI CAD" while he was at the University of Illinois. During the past year, Prof. Banerjee supported his students through funding from SRC at the University of Illinois. The specific projects that were supported were parallel algorithms for test generation and fault simulation of sequential circuits, and parallel algorithms for logic synthesis. Prof. Banerjee is in the process of transferring the grants to Northwestern University this year.
