The Bundalo family ancestry.

During the monarchy days in Serbia (1300's), the Bundalo family was known as the Milanovic family and consisted of noblemen with titles as powerful as Plemich (Duke).

When the Turks invaded and conquered most of the known world, including Serbia, the nobility broke up and the Milanovices became hajduci (rebels) and led resistance attacks against the Turks. One particular grandfather of mine was so successful against the invaders that he became widely know as bundalo, which is Turkish for avenger. The name stuck and eventually (in the 1820's) became his descendents' surnames.

More to come.

Here are my parents when they were my age (24-27).
