ABSTRACT:
We report a dual-beam (pulsed-pump, cw-probe) Z-scan technique
for characterizing time-dependent optical nonlinearities.
Continuous monitoring of probe transmission after pump
excitation enables efficient determination of nonlinear
refraction n(I,t) and absorption alpha(I,t).
