Jieyi Long received Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from Northwestern University, IL, in 2010, and the B.S. degree in microelectronics from Peking University, Beijing, China, in 2006. He is currently working at Magma Design Automation, Inc., at San Jose, CA.

His research interests include VLSI physical design, on-chip active cooling system design and optimization, thermal monitoring and management for high performance VLSI systems, and design automation for self-adjusting architectures.

He is a student member of IEEE since 2007.
