Call for papers (WORD, TXT)

 

The papers submitted to this workshop will focus on state-of-the-art research in various important issues related to emerging technologies and standards on the analysis, presentation, processing, coding and delivery of multimedia information (such as audio, video, image, graphics and text). We solicit papers covering a variety of topics that include, but not limited to the following subjects:

 


       Multimedia content analysis, representation, and understanding

       Content, user, computation, and network aware media engineering

       Multimedia indexing and retrieval

       Multimedia processing for wireless sensor networks

       Multimedia data mining and fusing

       Multimodal signal processing

       Multimedia summarization and abstraction

       Multimedia and multimodal user interfaces and interaction models

       Multimedia coding, streaming, and networking

       Intelligent audio-video surveillance and other security-related applications

       Content authentication, preservation, and digital rights management

       Multimedia tools including authoring, analyzing, editing, and browsing

       Multimedia security

       Emerging multimedia applications

 

Only original and unpublished paper will be considered to be presented in the workshop. Prospective authors are invited to submit papers of no more than six (6) pages in double-column IEEE format including results, figures and references before April 10, 2007. Prospective authors are expected to present their paper at the symposium.
