To prospective students, postdocs, and visitors

Back to home.

As of Spring 2017, no Ph.D. student or post-doctoral position is currently available in my own research group.

The Communications and Networking Laboratory has hosted Visiting Scholars from around the world. Visitors participate in research projects in the lab. Competent self-funded applicants are also welcome to contact us with a detailed CV.

Like many other faculty, I receive a large number of resumes and inquiries, so please do not expect a reply and do not send me identical messages repeatedly.

Prepared prospective students interested in the M.Sc. program are also encouraged to apply. The most suitable program for candidates with several years of work experience is the Masters of Science in Information Technology program. Master's students do not receive financial assistance.

The undergraduate and graduate degree programs in EECS at Northwestern rank prestigiously in the U.S.  Those interested in studying at Northwestern are encouraged to apply through the undergraduate or graduate office.  The EECS Department resides on the main campus of Northwestern, in Evanston, Illinois.  The campus (birdview) is on the shore of Lake Michigan.  It is half an hour to the center of metropolitan Chicago (google map) by car or by train.
