isempty

Test if an LTI model is empty

Syntax

• boo = isempty(sys)
  

Description

isempty(sys) returns 1 (true) if the LTI model sys has no input or no output, and 0 (false) otherwise.

Example

Both commands

• isempty(tf)   % tf by itself returns an empty transfer function
  isempty(ss(1,2,[],[]))
  

return 1 (true) while

• isempty(ss(1,2,3,4))
  

returns 0 (false).
