CHAIRMAN'S COLUMN

Last Friday we had a very productive meeting of the ECE Advisory Board. Many thanks to the 15 members of the Board who attended the meeting and provided recommendations for continuing the improvements in ECE.

This week the IEEE student chapter is organizing the ECE Picnic BBQ on Wednesday, May 18, from 12:30 to 3:00 pm on the Lakefill/Soccer Fields South of SPAC. All faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend.

Professor Seda Ogrenci Memik traveled to England, May 12-14, to attend the Technical Program Committee meeting of the International Conference on Field Programmable Logic and Its Applications at the Imperial College, London.
