CHAIRMAN'S COLUMN

This Monday we have the first ECE faculty meeting of Winter Quarter.

After a long absence, Ford Motor Company has agreed to appoint a member from Ford to our Advisory Board. We hope to also obtain a member from GM.

This week there is a seminar that may be of interest to faculty by a visitor from Stanford to the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department. The seminar is set for Thursday at 8:45 am in L361. It is on "Carbon Nanotube Electronics" by Ali Javey. He is available to meet with ECE faculty on Friday between 2:30 and 5:00.
