ECE Department Weekly Newsletter
April 11, 2005

CHAIRMAN'S COLUMN

It is my pleasure to report on the increased cooperation between ECE and CS. Professor Peter Dinda from CS has been given a courtesy appointment in ECE and Professor Robert Dick from ECE has been given a courtesy appointment in CS.

Profs. Dick and Dinda cooperated last quarter on a jointly taught course on real-time operating systems, which was taught as a special topics course, and will be made a permanent course cross-listed by both departments.

ECE faculty members have been working in recent weeks on the strategic plan for the ECE department.
