CHAIRMAN'S COLUMN

I would like to welcome everyone back from the long Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. I hope all of you spent an excellent weekend with your family and friends.

We offer congratulations to two of our faculty members who were elevated to the rank of IEEE Fellow effective January 1, 2005:

  • Manijeh Razeghi was elected Fellow of IEEE for contributions to the development of compound semiconductor growth technology.

  • Alok Choudhary was elected Fellow of IEEE for contributions to high performance computing systems.

Congratulations!

This is the last week of classes for the Fall Quarter. Students and faculty are getting ready for final examinations next week. Skiing holidays are within sight for some.
