ECE Department Weekly Newsletter September 29-October 3, 2003 |

CHAIRMAN'S COLUMN We value good teaching by our faculty in the ECE department. Each quarter, I recognize some of our best teachers. One of the metrics to identify our good teachers is the CTEC score provided by the student evaluations. I am pleased to distribute the CTEC results for the Spring 2003 quarter. One of the things that should be noted is that not all courses are easy to teach, especially if they are introductory undergraduate classes with large class sizes. However, these are some general trends in teaching in our department. As in the past, I am recognizing all the faculty who have scored 5.0 or higher (marked with an asterisk) with a personal letter of thanks.
