One of the initiatives that the ECE department has had every year is to be involved in the placement of our students. This is especially important in view of the recent economic downturn in the technology sector. As in previous years the ECE department will put together a RESUME booklet which will list all our graduating seniors in electrical engineering and computer engineering, and our graduating M.S. and Ph.D. students who plan to graduate sometime between December 2002 and August 2003.
The booklet will have one-page resumes for B.S. and M.S. students and two-page resumes for Ph.D. students. The resumes will be due to Nancy Singer <nancy@ece.northwestern.edu> by Monday, November 18, so that we can prepare the booklet and send them out to prospective employers before the winter break. Details of the exact forms for the resumes will be emailed to all students next week.
