Last week we began the process of faculty recruiting for next year by having two candidates visit us. This week we continue with two additional visits set for Monday and Friday. Full details appear below. We expect our faculty and graduate students to attend these seminars.
This week we also have a visit from Motorola to review progress of the Motorola Center for Communications Research, scheduled for Thursday, February 21, 2002.

Professor Prith Banerjee is traveling to San Jose, CA, February 18-20, to visit various companies including Synopsys, Synplicity, Voyan, and Altera.
Professor Prem Kumar is traveling to Austin, TX, February 18-19, to visit SBC Communications to explore possible collaborative research activities between the CPCC and SBC.
Congratulations go out to George Nejmeh, Assistant Program Manager in the MIT Program, on his recent engagement to Beulah Gillett, Quality Assurance Specialist in NU's Payroll Department.
