In this newsletter, I wish to inform everyone about our upcoming ECE Advisory Board meeting on Friday, May 19. On that day, about eight members from various universities and 20 members from industry will review the activities in our department over the past year and provide feedback about where and how to improve our department. The agenda includes an overview of department activities, reports on the new undergraduate curriculum in electrical and computer engineering, research presentations by our junior faculty, a graduate student poster session, and a feedback session with our faculty and board members.
We are planning to have a Graduate Student Research Poster Session in the afternoon of Friday, May 19, from 2:00-3:30, where we will present about 40 posters highlighting the research done by our graduate students. We will give a few Best Poster Presentation Awards on that day as well.
More details about the event will be distributed later. Meanwhile, please mark your calendar.
