Printing and Exporting Figures with MATLAB

Font Support for Printing

When MATLAB generates hardcopy output, it does not determine what fonts are available on the hardcopy device before it sends the output. If your text objects use an unavailable font on your printer, the printer substitutes another font. For example, a PostScript printer substitutes Courier for any unavailable font.
