Viewing and Setting the Search Path

Use the Set Path dialog box to view and modify the MATLAB search path and see files in directories that are on the path. Equivalent functions are documented for each feature of the Set Path dialog box.

Select Set Path from the File menu, or type pathtool at the Command Window prompt. The Set Path dialog box opens.

Use the Set Path dialog box for the following:

• Viewing the Search Path
• Adding Directories to the Search Path
• Moving Directories Within the Search Path
• Removing Directories from the Search Path
• Restoring the Default Search Path
• Reverting to the Previous Path
• Saving Settings to the Path
• Editing pathdef.m
