The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Northwestern University welcomes applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant, Associate and Professor level in the area of Solid State Engineering. The candidate is expected to show a significant record of scholarly achievements in advanced nano-electronics. Of particular interest are applicants with extended experience in novel electronic devices such as complementary carbon nanotube transistors, single-electron transistors, high-frequency ultra-low voltage devices based on III-V semiconductor devices, high-voltage wide bandgap devices, high-speed RF microwave, high-temperature electronic devices, modeling and design of ROICs for infrared focal plane arrays. Candidates must have an earned doctorate and show the ability to attract external funding, as well as establish an advanced electronics curriculum.
