Prof. Alok Choudhary has two separate projects with Intel Corporation (contact: Dr. Justin Rattner) In one project entitled "Compiler and Runtime Support", he has been developing compiler and runtime techniques for parallel programming on the Intel Paragon distributed memory multicomputer. In another project entitled, "Modeling and Evaluation of I/O architectures in Servers," he has been developing novel I/O architectures for the next-generation Intel servers.
In addition, Prof. Banerjee is starting a project in parallel algorithms for VLSI CAD with Intel Corporation (contact: Mr. Manpreet Khaira) in the area of 3-dimensional layout extraction.
