  • Optimization of systems described by differential equations

  • Nonlinear, mixed-integer and constraint programming

  • Nonsmooth and stochastic optimization

  • Optimization theory, including convergence analysis and complexity.

Application for funding


Financial Aid (deadline for applications: Nov 15, 2010)

We have received funding form NSF to support US investigators, and from Conacyt to support Mexican investigators. Instructions on how to apply for financial aid are as follows:

- if you are a US investigator, send your request to Jorge Nocedal and specify if you need full or partial support

- if you are a Mexican investigator, email Jose-Luis Morales.

Financial aid decisions will be made based on need: full support will be given to students, young investigators or researchers who do not have funding to support the trip. Partial support will be awarded to help lower the cost of the trip.
