OTC is devoted to research in numerical optimization, Internet
and distributed computing, problem-solving environments, and to the
study of optimization in a wide range of applications.
One of the central projects is NEOS - the Network Enabled
Optimization System. NEOS consists of the NEOS Guide, a comprehensive
guide to optimization models, algorithms and software, and the NEOS Server, which is capable
of solving optimization problems automatically over the Internet.
