Wavelet Toolbox

Platform-Specific Details

Some details of the use of the Wavelet Toolbox may depend on your hardware or operating system.

Windows Fonts

We recommend you set the system to use "Small Fonts." Set this option by clicking the Display icon in your desktop's Control Panel (accessible through the SettingsControl Panel submenu). Select the Configuration option, and then use the Font Size menu to change to Small Fonts. You'll have to restart Windows for this change to take effect.

Other Platforms Fonts

We recommend you set the system to use standard default fonts.

However, for all platforms, if you prefer to use large fonts, some of the labels in the GUI figures may be illegible when using the default display mode of the toolbox. To change this default mode to accept large fonts, you can use the wtbxmngr function (for more information you can see either the wtbxmngr help or its reference page documentation).

Mouse Compatibility

The Wavelet Toolbox was designed for three distinct types of mouse control:

Left Mouse Button
Middle Mouse Button
Right Mouse Button
Make selections, activate controls
Display a cross-hair to show position-dependent information

Translate plots up and down, and left and right

For more information, see Using the Mouse.
