Tool and Viewer Reference

This document describes the features of the Control System Toolbox's graphical user interfaces (GUI's) and shows you how to customize response plots using right-click menus. The topics include:

• SISO Design Tool -- A GUI that supports root locus, frequency response (Bode diagram), Nyquist, and Nichols compensator design methods for SISO plant models.
• LTI Viewer -- A GUI that supports SISO, MIMO, and LTI arrays. You can use the LTI Viewer to plot time and frequency responses of your models.
• Right-Click Menus for Response Plots -- All response plots have right-click menus that you can use for customization. For example, you can display characteristics such as rise time or peak response.
