Description
Value = deprdv(Cost, Salvage, Accum)
returns the remaining depreciable value for an asset.
Examples
The cost of an asset is $13,000 with a life of 10 years. The salvage value is $1000. First find the accumulated depreciation with the straight-line depreciation function, depstln
. Then find the remaining depreciable value after six years.
Accum = depstln(13000, 1000, 10) * 6 Accum = 7200.00 Value = deprdv(13000, 1000, 7200) Value = 4800.00
