iscellstr

Determine if item is a cell array of strings

Syntax

• tf = iscellstr(A)
  

Description

tf = iscellstr(A) returns logical true (1) if A is a cell array of strings and logical false (0) otherwise. A cell array of strings is a cell array where every element is a character array.

Examples

• A{1,1} = 'Thomas Lee';
  A{1,2} = 'Marketing';
  A{2,1} = 'Allison Jones';
  A{2,2} = 'Development';
  
  iscellstr(A)
