Terminate MATLAB (same as quit)

Graphical Interface

As an alternative to the exit function, select Exit MATLAB from the File menu or click the close box in the MATLAB desktop.

Syntax

Description

exit ends the current MATLAB session. It is the same as quit. See quit for termination options.
