Generic Email Client Settings

Mail server settings for IMAP clients

For users wishing to access the mail servers from inside the EECS department, select IMAP within your email client and specify the server as:

imap.eecs.northwestern.edu

For users wishing to access the mail servers from outside the EECS department, select IMAP with SSL within your email client and specify the server as:

imaps.eecs.northwestern.edu

For users inside the EECS department who wish to send outgoing email the SMTP server follows. Users outside of the EECS department should use their local SMTP server.
